Hi, I am Anna
I’ve always known I wanted to build something of my own. Creativity has always been part of who I am, and entrepreneurship felt like a natural path. I work full-time in marketing, and outside of that, I dedicate myself to family and Serenitea.
I manage every part of the business: from sourcing and supplier relationships to logistics, order fulfillment, product testing, marketing and customer relations. For now this is a very small side business, but I dream big.
How it all started
Before I became a mother and my life settled here, I traveled a lot.
During those travels, I was introduced to
refined buckwheat tea for the first time.
I became a fan immediately. So I used to bring my little stash. But traveling became more of a matter of course.
At a certain point, the supply ran out.
To my surprise, I couldn't find it anywhere here in the Netherlands.
I looked for alternative alternatives.
They were fine.
But it wasn't the same.
The idea for Serenitea originated two years ago.
But back then, combined, it wasn't the right moment.
Now it feels different.
Now it feels like the right moment to give this idea space and let it grow.
There are many healthy teas in the world, but none of them can be compared with buckwheat tea. Hence, Serenitea stems from a simple thought:
in a world full of stimuli and choices, there may also be something that brings calm with it.
