We get it - sometimes something just doesn't work for you and you want to return or exchange. Here's an honest overview of how returns work.
Tea & gift sets with tea — not returnable
Because tea is a food product, we're unable to accept returns on tea or gift sets that contain tea. This is both a legal requirement (Dutch Civil Code Art. 6:230p) and a quality matter, once a product leaves our hands, we can no longer guarantee its condition.
That said, if something arrived damaged, looks wrong, or isn't what you ordered, we'll absolutely make it right. Email us within 48 hours of receiving your order at info@serenitea.nl with a photo of the product and packaging. We'll send a replacement or issue a refund, whichever you prefer.
Tea accessories — 14-day return window
Ordered an infuser, or other accessory that isn't quite right? No problem. You have 14 days from delivery to return it, unused and in its original packaging.
• Return shipping costs are at your expense, unless the item is faulty or we made a mistake.
• Once we receive and approve the return, you'll get your money back within 14 days to your original payment method.
How to return something?
Drop us an email at hello@serenitea.world with your order number and a brief explanation. If it's about damage or an error, include a photo. We'll get back to you within 2 business days with next steps.
