Hi, I am Anna
I’ve always known I wanted to build something of my own. Creativity has always been part of who I am, and entrepreneurship felt like a natural path. I work full-time in marketing, and outside of that, I dedicate myself to family and Serenitea.
I manage every part of the business: from sourcing and supplier relationships to logistics, order fulfillment, product testing, marketing and customer relations. For now this is a very small side business, but I dream big.
The idea for Serenitea actually came to me three years ago. But at the time, it simply wasn’t the right moment. Now it feels different. Now it feels like the right time to give this idea space to grow.

How it started
Before I became a mother and my life settled down, I traveled a lot. It was during those trips that I first discovered roasted buckwheat tea — and I instantly fell in love with it.
Every time I traveled, I would bring some back home with me, my own little stash. But traveling became less natural over time. And eventually, that stash ran out.
To my surprise, I couldn't find this tea anywhere here in the Netherlands. I tried alternatives — they were fine, but it just wasn't the same. That sense of missing something stayed with me. And slowly, it turned into an idea.
Serenitea comes from a simple thought: in a world full of stimuli and choices, there should also be something that brings peace. Without caffeine. Without haste. But with an amazing flavor.
